The DNA Team Lead guides the affiliate through its early formation. This checklist highlights the key actions that keep the process organized, aligned, and moving forward. Use it to track progress, support your team, and ensure each step of the DNA journey is completed with clarity and care.
1. Take the DNA Orientation Course + Sign the DNA Agreement
Understand and agree to the core commitments of Love INC DNA Overview and Agreement and successfully complete, sign, and submit the agreement. Read more about this agreement in the course below. When the team leader is ready to sign the DNA Overview & Agreement, use the "DNA Agreement - Electronic Signature Request" link below to complete the form. You’ll receive an email with instructions for submitting your e‑signature.
2. Background Check
Team Leaders are required to complete a background check as part of the onboarding process. Only one is required. Please do not submit multiple background checks for the same DNA. The cost of the background check is covered by development fees. When you are ready to complete the background check, use the link below.
3. Vision Casting Preparation
Develop materials and a strategy to begin introducing the Love INC vision to local churches and community leaders. Engage in the following courses to prepare and practice your Love INC presentation. Be prepared to share your presentation with your DNA Coach.
4. Form a Development Team
Recruit one to three individuals to join you in forming the initial Development Team and add them to the Affiliate Admin Portal. Engage in the courses below to learn more about forming the Development Team and adding them to the Affiliate Admin Portal

5. Community Resource Mapping
The two courses below will equip you to create a map of current Christian church and community services and develop an initial Gap Analysis to identify unmet needs and shape the direction of your Love INC.

6. Fundraising
Raise $500-$2,000 in support for the initial development of the affiliate. The DNA Course 9: Fundraising 101 course below will walk you through this process.

7. Initial Development Fee
The Stage 1 Development Fee of $500 is due by the end of Stage 1. Connect with your DNA coach to initiate this process. This process is described in the course below.
